I live in the UK.
I am nearly 69 and have a two year old dog a Pentadale (if spelt
correct)
I am concerned if I should die before him, I am in no way well off but
do have some savings
I am wondering about schemes that give immediate priority to looking
after and suitably re homing my pet.
My own family would be unlikely to be able to help, I am the youngest
of my siblings and none of them could cope with looking after him.
I know the RSPCA have a scheme, can I ask what others have done on
this important issue.
Mick. IOW.

you could try this:
http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/legacies/caninecarecard2009.aspx

or the Cinnamon Trust
http://www.cpft.nhs.uk/services/cinnamon-trust.htm

who will take care of and rehome your dog if you die.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for this information Christina.
I have also found very local to me the main branch of
Friends of the Animals, and am setting things up.
