My dream involving a dog

Months ago, I had a dream where I was a security guard patrolling at
night. There was a guy sitting next to a Tim Hortons loiering and
drinking beer. I told the guy to leave and he said, "Fuck off." I got
offended and let him know it.

After that, I was talking to a guy about what happened and he had a
dog with him. I asked him if I should become a correctional officer
and the dog (a golden labrador retriever) shook his head in the "no"
fashion. What does the dream mean?
