How can a dog breeder (aside from Jerry Howe) do this to her animals?
Was a phone call to the SPCA just too burdensome for Cheryl Magnatto
to do? Some reporters, like cops, see the scum of humanity so often
that all people are just bastards-in-waiting. This particular piece of
shit thinks she's disappeared. Boy I hope not.

This sounds horribly like the Pierce Collie incident several years ago.

The last I heard, he'd gone into rare breeds under the ABRA since
he'd been banned from the AKC. I can't recall which breed it is.

In answer to your original question; a dog breeder is not necessarily
a good person. In fact, the best "dog breeders" rarely breed
dogs as when done _right_, it costs way more than the purchase price of
the pups produced.

She was cited for abuse before; but nailing the doors shut and leaving
them to die when one telephone call would save some of them. Jason
Burt was told some died before she left, so she probably thought she'd
be fined again. We've found she's from the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre area,
and the po-lice have notified their brethren in her home town.
