Sorry, this is a pretty general question.

My Uncle in Cuernavaca recently, out of the goodness of his heart,
agreed to adopt a dog from a friend who couldn’t support it. He’s
never had a dog, and has some familiar problems with the dog jumping
up on visitors, digging up the garden, etc.

Do you have any suggestions for how I can locate a trainer/obedience
school in his area? I don’t speak Spanish, and Google Translate is
quite unhelpful. Are there any international directories or
associations?

Thanks for any ideas.

This group is for all practical purposes defunct. I click on it every wee
or so,

You might have better luck posting your query to rec.pets.dogs.behavior,
which gets more traffic. Good luck!
